Grace Over Grind: A Fresh Start for the Overwhelmed Homemaker

Hey hey friend,

If you’re anything like me, you want your home to feel peaceful, beautiful, and cared for.

But most days, it can feel like unending laundry, chaos, and more demands than you feel capable of handling.

You’re juggling work, relationships, dreams and so much more, and somewhere in between, you’re trying to build a home that reflects your heart.

If you’ve been struggling to manage your home well on top of your busy schedule, you are not alone.

You’re simply in need of a better rhythm.

One that is built on grace – for yourself and those around you – rather than guilt for all the things maybe you didn’t get to yet.

The Real Goal of Homemaking

Let’s re frame homemaking.

It’s not about perfection.

It’s about peace. It’s about creating a space where you and the people you love can breathe, grow, and rest. You don’t need an HGTV-worthy house. You just need a home that feels safe, soft and steady – starting with how you feel in it.

  • Just take a minute and grab a pen and piece of paper and look around your home, are there places and spaces that feel chaotic?

Write those down.

  • Are there places that you feel cozy in? Or? Are there places you’ve been wanting to transform into a cozy nook?

Write those thoughts down.

  • Now, think about a small area of your home that you feel you could make even 10% better this week.

Write that down and schedule when you are doing that item this week.
