How to Find Your Home’s Peaceful Rhythm

Four Focus Areas for Rhythmic Homemaking (Even when you’re busy)

1.) Think in terms of routines instead of schedules.
Routines offer rhythm without rigidity.

Think about your morning routine, midday routine, and evening routines. What are some ways that you can make those routines easier for you?

Maybe try starting a load of laundry before you make your coffee in the morning so you have a load ready to swap by the time your morning routine is finished! You’re getting a head start on another routine within minutes!

I LOVE finding ways to help myself out later! Something that I recently started incorporating into our evening routine is a little pre planning for leftovers of what I’m making for dinner! So if I am making a Mexican Beef + Rice Bowls, I know I have bell peppers in the fridge that I can use leftovers to make stuffed peppers later in the week, so I portion some back specifically for that meal later, and guess what? That’s dinner on the table in 30 minutes that I can set a timer for a walk away to do other things than slave over another meal! How does that sound??

Always think ahead and prepare anything in advance that you can now, so later, things will be easier for you!
